Perugia. A tour of the city with a guide authorised by the Region of Umbria, discovering its walls, gates and most evocative historical sights. The cultural sites, churches, squares and historical buildings are also important. Visit to the picture gallery that will take us inside the artistic side of the city with its precious treasures.

Montelabate. Site of the Abbey of Santa Maria di Valdiponte dating back to the year 1000 A.D. and its suggestive path along the Rio Santa Maria stream.

2 nights in a hotel including breakfast, guided tour of Perugia by a local guide licensed by the Region of Umbria with entrance to the National Gallery of Umbria, an Italian state museum located in the Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia. It houses the largest collection of Umbrian art and some of the most significant works of art from central Italy, from the 13th to the 19th century, a visit to the Abbey of Montelabate, an excursion to the nature trail near the Abbey with a hiking guide, wine and Umbrian products tasting at an agriturismo.

Meeting with our guide licensed by the Region of Umbria early in the morning. Tour of the city of Perugia, visit to the National Gallery of Umbria, one of the most important art collections in Italy, the Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia, seat of the Municipality since medieval times and a significant example of Gothic civil architecture. Visit to the underground Perugia.

Just outside Perugia is the Abbey of Santa Maria Valdiponte, Montelabate. An imposing Benedictine monastic building dating back to the 9th - 10th century, immersed in the green Umbrian countryside. Guided tour of the abbey. At the end of the visit, there will be an excursion of the area near the abbey, following a path along the Rio Santa Maria stream. An evocative route, in nature accessible to all, with waterfalls and small bridges along the stream. Excursion with a hiking guide.

Before departing, we will have a wine, cheese and cold cuts tasting at an agritourism in Piccione. Immersed in the enchanted forest, we will savour the flavours of the area, together with a suggestive landscape of vineyards and the Perugia valley.
