Located near Lake Trasimeno, in the municipality of Panicale, listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy and awarded the Orange Flag. It consists of about 30 hectares of land cultivated with vineyards and olive groves. The structure, which has been completely restored, dates back to the 14th century with regard to the ancient aedicule of the Madonna di Santa Maria della Querciolana (Our Lady of Milk).The Church was built around the aedicule in 1480 and a few years later, on the dispensation of the Bishop of Chiusi, the first mass was celebrated.In 1497 the Benedictine monks enlarged the Church and built the small Convent. The frescos by masters of Italian painting such as Bartolomeo Caporali (father) and Giovan Battista Caporali (son), a pupil of Perugino (Pietro Vannucci), remain to this day. The farm, equipped with a swimming pool and tennis court, offers the possibility of holiday stays. It is also possible to carry out tastings or 'wine experiences' of wine, oil and other products from the farm.
Inside the winery is the cellar, where innovation and tradition are combined to produce wines of excellent quality. Some of our wines are aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels and 12-24 months in barriques.
Some of the names given to the wines echo the figure of the famous mercenary captain, Boldrino Paneri da Panicale (1331-1391), who, according to legend, found refuge for a brief period near the votive shrine of Santa Maria la Querciolana.
