Description of the stages:

-identify the main types of peaches

-learn about the fruit with the five senses

-take part in the stages of processing the fruit

-learn how to preserve the fruit

-tasting the product only after having used it in the preparation of a dish

Timing and tools of the topics:

-welcome: introduction to the farm and presentation of the day's activities (15')

-activities in the teaching room: learning about the different types of peaches, where and when they are grown (2h)

-product processing (2h)

-preparation of the dish to be tasted together (2h)

What is included

Methods:

The children will learn theoretical notions about the fruit in question: from cultivation to tasting. There will also be playful and manipulative activities with the fruit involved.

teaching materials (blackboard, chalk, coloured pencils) and fruit ready for processing
