Dolci d'Italia 2026
From 30 October to 1 November, Spoleto hosts Dolci d'Italia, the National Sweets Festival, three days dedicated to the Italian pastry tradition in its broadest sense. From the Middle Ages to contemporary production, the festival traces how regional influences have shaped a rich and varied gastronomic heritage.
Italian confectionery draws on quality ingredients found across the country — dairy products, wheat, chocolate, ricotta, fresh and dried fruit — combined according to diverse local traditions. Dolci d'Italia brings to Spoleto producers, recipes and stories from north to south, offering guided tastings, hands-on workshops and educational talks for both the general public and professionals in the field.
