Festival Internazionale Green Music 2026
From 1 June to 20 September, Umbria hosts the tenth edition of the Green Music International Festival, conceived and directed by pianist and composer Maurizio Mastrini. Over 70 free events bring national and international artists to the region's villages, castles, vineyards, woodlands and lakeshores, combining music, landscape and environmental sustainability.
Among the highlights of the Parole e Musica strand, Ermal Meta performs on 30 July in Bevagna; "Le parole che non ti ho detto", a new project with Giorgio Pasotti and Mastrini, premieres on 31 July in Orvieto; and Federico Zampaglione of Tiromancino headlines on 1 August in Castiglione del Lago. The programme also features international ensembles including the Freddy Sunder Big Band from Antwerp, Polish pianist Wojciech Swietonski, Japanese soprano Kaoruko Kambe and the Spanish Gradus Jazz Trio, among many others. On 20 September the festival closes with a multisensory experience at NUN Assisi, combining music and thermal waters.
All events are free admission.
