From 22 May to 30 September, Museo Hydra in Marmore, in the municipality of Terni, hosts Walk of Water – An Intergenerational Journey, a photography exhibition exploring the role of water in contemporary societies through images from around the world. The exhibition, previously shown in cities including Paris, New York and Delft, now arrives in the region as part of its international tour.

The project brings together a selection of photographs by international authors documenting water in its broadest dimension: a vital resource for human communities, a driver of cooperation between peoples and territories, and a mirror of the environmental and social challenges of our time. The guiding thread is intergenerational — the images speak to past and future, inviting visitors to reflect on the relationship between humanity and one of the planet's most essential resources.
