All vinification, barrel ageing and bottling operations are carried out in the old cellar, part of which was built before the 15th century.

Hidden amidst the lush green Umbrian hills, in a breathtaking setting, the Castello di Montegiove dates back to the 13th century and has belonged to the Marquis Misciattelli family since 1780. Today, it is at the centre of an estate that extends over 1200 hectares in the beautiful Umbrian countryside and includes an industrious farm with 13 hectares of vineyards and an exclusive agritourism. Thanks to a challenging but exciting restoration project carried out by the owners, this bucolic and dreamy scene has been carefully preserved over time, from generation to generation.

Your hosts will guide you on a pleasant tour of part of the castle, the 16th century cellars, the chapel dedicated to the Blessed Angelina, and you will end the tour with a tasting of three wines from the cellar, a white, a rosé and a red.
